As a Commercial Construction Project Manager, you will oversee all project phases, from client meetings and cost estimation to contractor coordination and budgeting. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring timelines, quality standards, and client satisfaction are met. Your expertise will directly contribute to the success of each project and the continued growth of our company.

Responsibilities

  • Interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to establish project requirements and scope.
  • Develop accurate cost estimates, manage budgets, and present detailed proposals to clients.
  • Order materials, schedule deliveries, and ensure timely availability of resources.
  • Lead and motivate the project team, manage timelines, and maintain organized project documentation.
  • Analyze and mitigate project risks, manage change orders, and conduct quality checks to ensure project standards.
  • Meet with clients to provide updates, coordinate with code officials, and conduct job site inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee site safety, maintain a clean work environment, and proactively address potential hazards.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in construction project management with a focus on commercial projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and estimating software; familiarity with UDA
  • Construction Online or similar construction management software is a plus.
  • Thorough understanding of commercial construction processes and terminology.
  • Skilled in construction budgeting, financial management, and project scheduling.
  • Knowledge of occupational safety practices, hazards, and risk mitigation.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, the ability to think critically, and a problem-solving mindset.
  • Able to handle high-pressure situations, manage deadlines, and maintain both physical and emotional fitness.
  • Strong work ethic and team leadership abilities.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with clients, contractors, and team members.
  • OSHA 30-hour card preferred.
