Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. This position is critical in ensuring the comfort and satisfaction of our residents by maintaining the highest quality standards across our properties. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general property maintenance, with a strong commitment to safety, problem-solving, and excellent communication.

Key Responsibilities & Of Duties

General Property Maintenance:

Must have personal tools necessary for maintenance work.

Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs across residential units and common areas to ensure a safe and functional environment.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize downtime and inconvenience for residents.

HVAC Systems:

Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and resident comfort.

Certification is not required but willingness to obtain HVAC certification is highly preferred.

Plumbing and Electrical Systems:

Repair and maintain plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and water lines, to ensure uninterrupted water services.

Perform basic to intermediate electrical work, such as circuit repair, lighting fixture maintenance, and outlet replacements.

Pool Maintenance:

Maintain swimming pools in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification or willingness to obtain it is required.

Safety and Compliance:

Adhere to all safety protocols and comply with local, state, and federal building codes.

Safely handle tools, equipment, and hazardous materials as required for maintenance tasks.

Physical Duties:

Lift and carry up to 50 lbs., including up multiple flights of steep, outdoor stairs.

Perform physically demanding tasks such as bending, climbing, and working in confined spaces.

Soft Skills:

Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Dependable, flexible, and responsive to emergencies outside regular working hours.
