The OCIO focuses on supporting IT's operation model by ensuring a consistent, transparent, and efficient approach to the way the IT organization delivers value to its partners.

This candidate will work with internal teams to implement enterprise company policies, risk engagement controls, invoice compliance reviews, goods receipts, and obtain leadership’s financial approvals for O&M contract services. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of contract reviews with subject matter experts, and drive consensus, resolutions, and validation regarding costs of contracts. Analyze market trends and industry best practices to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize contract terms. This position works with stakeholders including the sourcing department to assist in developing a deep understanding of contract scope, cost, terms, and conditions. The CMA develops partnerships and coordinates with the IT PMO and IT leaders to capture incremental O&M costs from contracts at the time of purchase. The principal CMA manages the entire contract lifecycle, from contract initiation through execution, amendment, and approval. Conduct regular contract reviews and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Monitor contract compliance, ensuring vendors adhere to agreed-upon terms and deliverables, addressing any potential breaches proactively. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across departments to understand procurement needs and translate them into effective contracts. Advise project managers and other stakeholders on contract interpretation, compliance, and potential risks.

If you are passionate about contract management, data quality, solving problems, clearly articulating to audiences, and driving process improvement, this position is for you.

This position is hybrid, working from your remote office and the Oakland General Office (OGO) based on business needs.
