The Bus Driver under general direction of an assigned supervisor, operates a school bus or transportation vehicle over designated routes within an established time schedule to transport students to and from school and on special event trips to meet the needs of students, staff, and sites.

REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY

License/Credential or Skills

Any combination equivalent to: high school graduation and successful completion of bus driver training. Valid California Class B driver's license with passenger endorsement; California Medical Certificate; California Special Driver's Certificate for Type I school bus with no restrictions. Incumbents are required to maintain a sufficient number of training hours as prescribed by law.
