Position Summary and Responsibilities

The Warehouseperson I reports to the Regional Warehouse Manager and is responsible for efficiently fulfilling customer orders and maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and organization of our warehouse facilities.

Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Pulling / Selecting Sales Orders:
    • Obtain the Sales Order print out.
    • Operate a powered pallet jack to “shop” the warehouse and select the appropriate items from storage.
    • Build well organized, stable custom pallets of product for order fulfillment.
  • Maintaining Housekeeping / Sanitation & Safety:
    • Maintain to standard, always keeping warehouse “tour ready”.
    • Maintain operation of any warehouse equipment in compliance with company safety policies.
    • Other Duties as Assigned, which may include temporary reassignment to Loading, Unloading, Receiving, Product Rotation, etc.
    • Adhere to GMP’s, Quality and Food Safety requirements.
Position Requirements
  • High School Diploma and/or equivalent (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Ability to work 40 hours a week; 8-hour days or more (as needed) to meet demand.
  • Maintain quality controls with at least 99.5% accuracy.
  • Basic reasoning abilities and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and operate basic office equipment.
  • Perform the physical demands of the position including lifting up to 52 pounds.
  • Must be at least hand jack certified or willing to train and acquire certification.
Work Environment
  • Frequently working near production machinery and occasionally near hand jacks or forklifts.
  • Frequently working in an environment with variable temperatures.

Strict adherence to all warehouse processes, operating procedures, and company policies is required.
