CADD Technician – Raleigh, NC

Parrish & Partners is seeking a CADD Technician with at least 2 years of experience. This position will be responsible for assisting project managers and other engineers in the preparation of construction plans and specifications on projects within NC, SC, VA, and WV. To excel you should be excessively attentive to minor details, follow guidelines and prompts when creating drawings, and have a collaborative approach to designing high quality documents for our engineers and clients.

Functions of this position include:
  • Performing design tasks associated with all aspects of airport development while working under the direction of civil engineers
  • Earthwork and site grading design
  • Stormwater design
  • Coordinating production and development of airport improvement plans, specifications, design calculations, technical documents, etc.
  • Calculating construction quantities and developing cost estimates
  • Understanding survey data and capable of incorporation of survey into design documents
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of experience with civil engineering development projects
  • High School Diploma
  • Associate's Degree in related field (preferred)
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel
