As a Transitions Banker you provide support for market segmentation in the International Private Bank, Latam North business. The Transitions Banker is a key member of the Front Office team and works with the Business to manage a selected portfolio of clients and to assist non-strategic relationships exit the bank with the best possible experience.
Position Description
- For a selected portfolio of clients, take over relationships from existing bankers and operate in a Client Advisor capacity and, if necessary, the transition of those relationships.
- When necessary, proactively approach clients to communicate exit decisions and help clients coordinate the relationship transition successfully.
- Adhere to internal and external policies and procedures regarding securities transactions, cross-border policies and code of conduct.
- Prepare and maintain DDRs as requested by our internal policies and procedures.
- Conduct investment reviews with clients to determine or validate current investment objectives and prepare alternatives of appropriate investment products.
- Partner with clients until transition is complete, including, but not limited to, updating KYC information, conducting client meetings, monitoring asset transfer and handling ad-hoc queries.
- Manage and retain key relationships with existing clients by earning trust, thoroughly understanding client needs, providing targeted advice, developing thoughtful solutions and delivering an exceptional client experience.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Series 7 & Series 66
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Financial Services / International Private Banking
- Client Management skills and effective communicator (both written and spoken) with a tenacity to resolve issues and conflicts.
- Working knowledge of key regulatory controls and ability to manage accounts in accordance with firm policies and procedures.
- Good judgment and ability to make independent decisions about complex issues and solutions.

- Experience with and in-depth knowledge of the equity and fixed income markets and alternative investments, including Hedge Funds, Private Equity and Real Estate
