We are actively looking to add a CDL Driver Full Time 30 hrs. weekly.

Position Overview

  • The primary objective for the Driver is to provide safe, courteous, and on-schedule transportation to our residents and their families.
  • The Driver represents the organization by being visible throughout the community.
  • Residents are to be treated with respect, courtesy, and graciousness at all times.
  • The Driver is expected to foster the best possible relations with volunteers, actual and potential residents, agency donors, and community sponsors.

What You’ll Do

  • Driving the company vehicle (car or bus) to Resident Activities.
  • Assisting residents in and out of vehicles.
  • Inspecting the company vehicle before and after trips.
  • Communicate any vehicle maintenance needs.
  • Perform light office duties, including, but not limited to, answering incoming calls or in-person inquiries to set up Resident's travel.
  • Complete all reports as requested by the Director.

Experience & Education

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with B class with passenger endorsement required.
  • Must have 5 years minimum experience.
  • Strong customer service skills are a must.
  • Experience working with seniors is a plus.
