Foxhole Technology is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to join our growing team in support of Security Operations Center. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a network security environment, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Incident Response Center (CIRC) or Cyber Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC).

  • Provide direct support to SOC operations and ensure availability of tools and software
  • Responsible for the implementation, operations, maintenance and lifecycle management of security technologies to support the SOC and other cybersecurity functions
  • Revise and develop processes to strengthen the current operational activities; review policies and recommend changes to improve governance based on knowledge of SOC tools.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to build and maintain positive working relationships
  • Excellent analytical and communicative skills along with collaborative, teaming and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum five (5) years IT experience with at least three (3) years of experience administering Red Hat Linux and Microsoft Windows Server
  • Must have five (5) years’ experience as leading teams that manage and provide Network Administration in LAN/WAN environment, knowledge with Cisco Switching/Routing/Security administration and maintenance. Server Configuration, Setups and Installations.
  • Experience with Cloud environments and familiarity with SCRUM / Agile Framework Methodologies.
  • BS Degree or additional work experience substitution
  • Resiliency planning (Continuity, Contingency, Devolution, Disaster Recovery).
  • Experience with multiple Windows Server OS including but not limited to 2008/2012/2016/2019, Active Directory, MS Exchange and MS Outlook, and Citrix administration.
  • Experience with storage and back-up solutions.
  • Experience with Dell servers/workstations and CISCO routers/switches.
  • Experience with LAN/WAN architecture.
  • Experience with Java scripting.
  • Experience with Python Scripting.
  • Experience with SIEM solutions.
  • Firewall administration experience (Checkpoint, Juniper, Cisco, etc.).
  • Experience working in a network security environment, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT), Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT), Computer Incident Response Center (CIRC) or Cyber Security Incident Response Center (CSIRC).
  • MCSE, CCNA and/or CCSA Certification.
  • RHCE, Certification and/or MCSE, CCNA, CCSA.

Must be able to see, have eye/hand coordination, and lift up to 10 lbs. May be exposed to dust/dirt, humidity, and noise.
