SUMMARY
Responsible for processing jackpots, W2G’s, specialty fills and assisting with all guest concerns and/or needs in an assigned area. Ensures compliance with all policies and procedures and all internal and external regulations. Assures excellent guest service by communicating in a pleasant, friendly, and professional manner.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  1. Performs customer service calls in an assigned area, encompassing up to 400 Slot Machines.
  2. Troubleshoots slot machine problems, clears simple jams, and notifies slot technicians of serious malfunctions. Maintains ticket levels in slot machines according to company and departmental policies.
  3. Ensures superior guest service by proactively engaging guests, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere.
  4. Pays jackpots in accordance with company policies and maintains accurate accounting of money pouch and assigned floor bank.
  5. Identifies and resolves guest concerns by continually patrolling assigned work area.
  6. Participates in departmental brainstorming meetings.
  7. Performs other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

  1. Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills, usually acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Working knowledge of slot machine payouts and schedules, typically gained through one to three years of related experience.
  3. Basic computer skills to process jackpots and W2G’s.
  4. Professional appearance and a positive public image.
  5. Understanding of Regulation 6A. Must be 21 and obtain required permits.
  6. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and evenings.
  7. Ability to be mobile throughout the casino and lift/carry at least 30 pounds.

WORKING CONDITIONS

Involves walking and greeting guests in gaming areas, requiring weekend and evening work, and the ability to stand and walk for long periods. Must tolerate areas with secondary smoke and high noise levels.

Qualifications

Education

High school diploma or equivalent.

Licenses

  • Gaming
  • TAM

Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.

Professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and ability to meet company standards.

Excellent math skills and ability to work in crowded, loud environments.

Physical Requirements

Move throughout the facility for most of the shift.

Spend time indoors in air-conditioned areas.

  • Supervise slot change persons and booth cashiers.
  • Directly manage change persons, booth cashiers, and slot carousel attendants.
  • Clear currency jams in slot bill acceptors.
  • Perform hopper fills on slots.
  • Verify hand-paid slot jackpots during payouts.
  • Assist with personnel administration, scheduling, and discipline.
  • Verify opening and closing banks for cashiers and attendants.
  • Answer guest questions about slots, tournaments, and promotions.
