Impact

Assists in ensuring the Bank's information technology software applications, Microsoft Office 365, WAN/LAN activities are secure and stable, used to help maximize profits commensurate with the best interest of customers, employees, and the public.


Responsibilities
Supports the information technology function, all related software programs, resources and support services which implement strategies to ensure stability of core processing functions, computer systems, local, wide-area, wireless, Internet, Intranet networks and Cloud.


Essential Functions

  • Provides desktop and technical support to Bank personnel with respect to the Bank’s Microsoft 365 software applications local, wide-area, wireless, Internet, and Intranet networks, and all related software
  • Provides system administration and help desk support with Office 365. The IT Specialist should be able to apply advanced technical skills and knowledge on all Office 365 applications such as Exchange Online, OneDrive Sync, Office Online, OneNote, Outlook WebApp, Outlook Client, and Office Suite. A strong understanding of these products is a must.
  • Ensures Bank’s systems are operating in a secure and stable
  • Troubleshoots and resolves IT and software application
  • Assists with system specification changes, including adding and deleting users; ensures proper documentation and authorization for such
  • Assists in analyzing and deploying hardware and software updates and other patch management directives.
  • Assists with Disaster Response and Recovery in the event of a technology emergency or breach in confidential information; recovers file servers and data at disaster recovery
  • Monitors file server performance and antivirus activity; tracks trends, usage, stability,
  • Assists in analyzing and deploying hardware and software updates and other patch management directives.
  • Assists with special projects and department tasks as assigned.
Ancillary Functions
  • Assures adherence to Bank policies and procedures and federal and state regulatory
  • Provides cross-functional support to other areas of the department and the Bank where service or assistance is
  • Performs tasks which are supportive in nature to the essential functions of the job, but which may be altered or re-designed depending upon individual circumstances.

Mandatory Training Curricula

Training is required of all Bank staff as related to regulatory mandated compliance topics and courses required for specific job functions. Career enhancement training courses are also available. Please refer to course catalog and management for details.

Skills

  • Clearly communicates in English;
  • proficient reading, writing, grammar, and mathematics skills;
  • proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills;
  • proficient technical and computer skills, including troubleshooting end user and software support related to desktop applications and network programs and resources;
  • Microsoft Office 365 Certification.

Physical Demands

The physical and related demands described in this section are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This job is mostly sedentary in nature, but may occasionally involve lifting materials that weigh up to 20 lbs. Employees in this job must be able to work in an office environment during regular business hours where they come into regular and frequent contact with internal and external customers and other members of the public. Therefore, employees in this position are expected to have consistently positive interactions with the public.


Education/Training

B.S. or B.A. degree, or equivalent, in Computer Science or related field of study normally required; specialized IT education/training.


Experience

A minimum of three (3) years’ related experience normally required.


Salary Range

$55,350 - $70,000
