Acute Care Gases is a rapidly growing respiratory solutions company that provides Respiratory Therapists and equipment to residents of long term care facilities. We are seeking part time/per-diem Respiratory Therapist in the Ocala area for both equipment setups and education/scheduled hours in various facilities.

The successful candidate must:

* Be licensed in the state of FL
* Have 2 or more years of paid hospital experience (clinical rotations, volunteer work, etc. does not fulfill the requirement). Home Care or work in long term care are desired but not essential.
* Comfortable working as the sole respiratory therapist in the facility.
* Be able to do resident assessments, recommend changes in therapy, and recommend changes in equipment as necessary.
* Adapt to changing workloads based on the acuity of residents in the facility.
* Be able to effectively communicate and provide “on the fly” bedside instruction to the facility nursing and clinical staff as needed.
* Work a scheduled shift or shifts in a facility based on the facility’s needs.
* Be able to travel between our skilled nursing facilities.
* Expect to be available for scheduled on call coverage for weekends and holidays.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced therapist who no longer want to work a full time schedule or for a therapist who is looking to pick up some extra income without the wear and tear of a hospital shift.
