Job Description
Are you a skilled phlebotomist looking for a challenging and rewarding role? Join our team as a Phlebotomist III - Float and make a positive impact on patient lives.
As a Phlebotomist III - Float, you'll be responsible for drawing blood samples from patients, preparing specimens for lab testing, and providing exceptional customer service. You'll work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with patients of all ages and backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately draw blood samples from patients
Prepare specimens for lab testing
Follow established practices and procedures
Create a positive and welcoming atmosphere for patients
Provide exceptional customer service
Work effectively in a team environment
Demonstrate leadership and mentorship skills

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic training preferred)
Phlebotomy certification (preferred, required in certain states)
Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience (including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections)
Minimum 3 years of experience in a PSC/IOP environment
Strong customer service skills
Keyboard/data entry experience
