About the Role:
As a Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative, you'll play a vital role in our patient care operations. You'll be responsible for drawing blood samples, preparing specimens, and providing exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Interaction: Greet patients warmly, explain procedures clearly, and create a positive and reassuring environment.
Phlebotomy: Accurately and efficiently draw blood samples from patients of all ages, including pediatric and geriatric populations.
Specimen Processing: Prepare and process blood samples for laboratory testing, adhering to strict quality control standards.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information and procedures.
Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Phlebotomy certification (preferred, especially in CA, NV, and WA)
Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Attention to detail and accuracy
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
Medical assistant or paramedic training
Experience in a fast-paced healthcare environment
