Loyal Source Government Services is looking for a Board Certified ENT Physician to work at the Wm. Jennings Bryan Dorn VAMC in Columbia, SC.

Job Summary: Provide services necessary to perform onsite Otolaryngology

Physician Services to eligible beneficiaries of the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Columbia VA Health Care System VAMC covering the range of Otolaryngology services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art civilian medical treatment facility and the standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards as established by the American Academy of Otolaryngology (AAO)

Key Responsibilities:

- shall provide comprehensive clinical Otolaryngology services including the full range of ENT Surgical procedures: Typical surgical procedures include, but are not limited to:

-• Thyroidectomy

-• Parotidectomy

-• Sinus Surgery

-• Head/Neck cancer removal

-• Pan endoscopy

-

- rounds shall be conducted on postoperative ENT patients in the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and on the wards.

- provide consultative services at the patient’s bedside if the patient is not ambulatory and in the clinic setting if the patient is able to report to the outpatient clinic.

- participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings with committee participation as required by the facility Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or designee

Requirements:

Qualifications:

Current, full and unrestricted professional license from any US State or Territory

Board Certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology

BLS and ACLS through AHA

DEA certification

Benefits: W2 with benefits package or 1099 pay available

Pay: 260/hr
