Job Description:

About the Role: Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomist III - Float to join our team. As a Phlebotomist III - Float, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional phlebotomy services across multiple locations and settings, including doctor's offices, patient service centers, in-home environments, and long-term care facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality blood draws from patients of all ages, adhering to established procedures and ensuring accuracy and safety.
Prepare blood specimens for lab testing and maintain accurate documentation.
Provide exceptional customer service, building trust and confidence with patients.
Demonstrate strong leadership skills, mentoring and coaching junior staff.
Act as a resource advisor and provide onboarding services to new employees and clients.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, laboratory testing services, IT, billing, and logistics, to address complex patient needs and ensure smooth operations.
Handle multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington).
Minimum 5 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a PSC/IOP environment preferred.
Strong customer service skills in a retail or service environment.
Proficiency in keyboard/data entry.
