Compensation

LPN starts at $20.00 per hour, however, PHN recognizes licensure, experience, education and site location when determining wage.

Location and Hours of Position

PHN 29 Saltsburg Rd. Clarksburg, PA 15725 NOTE: This position is for 40hrs a week with flexible time. PHN Jacksonville Health Center general office hours are:

Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 5:00 pm
2nd and 4th Thursday of the month 10:30 am - 7:00 pm

NO WEEKENDS

Position Overview

Medical Assistants (MA) , License Practical Nurses (LPN) , Registered Nurse (RN) assists in the provision of comprehensive health care as a member of a team of health care professionals. This individual functions in all areas of the outpatient office setting this might include both clinical and front desk duties.

Qualifications

•Medical Assistant (MA): graduate of an approved school Medical Assistant (certification preferred) and/or two years’ experience in a clinical setting

•Licensed Practical Nurse(LPN), Registered Nurse (RN): graduate of Licensed Practical Nurse program and licensed or eligible to take state boards.

•Infection Control and strong clinical knowledge

•Administering Medication

•Previous venipuncture and injection experience preferred

•Previous experience in calling prescriptions under a provider’s direction

•Computer proficient and EMR experience
