*An Inova Licensed Practical Nurse:*
* Provides direct patient care utilizing the nursing process under the supervision of a registered professional nurse, an advanced practice provider, or licensed physician.
* Conducts all patient care in a patient and family-centered manner.
* Uses an integrated approach toward patient outcomes.
* Utilizes standards, guidelines and pathways for care delivery.

*Responsibilities include:*
* Collaborates with materials management to ensure appropriate stock and minimize outdated stock.
* Administers prescribed medications, therapies, and treatments.
* Assists with patient education and discharge planning.
* Demonstrates correct stabilization and immobilization of spine.
* Collects patient specimens following department/facility policies and procedures.
* Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies to optimize delivery of patient care and treatment.

*Available shifts: *_(1 pm - 1 am) & (7 am - 7 pm)_

*Requirements:*
* Graduate of an accredited LPN school
* One year of ED LPN experience _*strongly preferred*_
* Eligible for licensing in the commonwealth of Virginia as an LPN
* BLS certification from the American Heart Association

Pay: $25.61 - $41.61 per hour

Expected hours: 36 per week
