We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technician to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine and medical imaging techniques.

*Required Qualifications for a Nuclear Med Tech:*
* Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine, ARRT (NM) or NMTCB upon hire or within 4 months of hire.
* Preferred: Siemens equipment experience
* Prior experience in acute care hospital setting
* California Department of Public Health (CDPH) License in Nuclear Medicine
* American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Nuclear Medicine (NM) or NMTCB for graduates after 2007
* BLS

*Nuclear Medicine Technician's Duties*
* Performs Nuclear Medicine scanning procedures to include instructing patients and selecting techniques
* Positions, transfers and properly immobilizes patients as required
* Performs scanning, reconstruction of proper images, and post processing
* Preforms QA on all images prior to ending the exam and sending images to PACS
* Prepares radioactive doses, calculating an confirming the activity to be used
* Administers radioactive, adjunctive, and imaging medications. This includes, but is not limited to, the following: Oral, intravenous, intramuscular, intradermal, subcutaneous, inhalation

* OEC 9900, and Elite c-arms: 1 year (Required)
