Lead Radiologic Technologist, Day Shift, Outpatient Imaging

Adventist HealthCare is hiring a Lead Radiologic Technologist for our Outpatient Imaging Services in Rockville, MD. Qualified candidates will be eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. (*Current AHC employees not eligible – see below under additional details.)
As a Lead Rad Tech you will:
• Promote department morale, provides a supportive work environment and seeks personal growth opportunities
• Consistently ensure that the diagnostic radiology staff is providing high quality, compassionate and courteous customer service
• Ensure staff is consistently producing high quality images to provide physicians with accurate data and maintains the Diagnostic Radiology department in a state of survey readiness
• Demonstrate cost effectiveness in the use of resources, supplies, and equipment as well as time management
• Contribute resources for community education while ensuring adequate staffing to accommodate department and community needs
• Conduct oneself in a manner that supports the hospital’s mission and is respectful of cultural, ethnic, and spiritual diversity
Qualifications include:
• High school diploma or GED required
• Graduate of two-year AMA/JCERT accredited school of radiography
• 3 years’ experience in Diagnostic Radiology
• Supervisory experience preferred
• ARRT registered (RT); ARRT Advanced Certification, (QA) preferred
• State of Maryland Medical Radiation Technologist license
• Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• High level of technical aptitude
• Strong customer service skills
• Ability to work independently and handle a multi task environment
• Basic PC skills such as Windows
Work Schedule:
Monday - Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm
Able to rotate to all OP Imaging sites; DEXA experience preferred
*Current AHC employees are not eligible for a sign-on bonus who are transferring from one entity to another and/or transferring within their entity. Employees that have terminated their employment with AHC are not eligible for a sign-on bonus prior to six months of returning if hired for a position offering a sign-on bonus.
Pay Range:
$39.96 - $59.94
In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount or if the position is Per Diem (offering a fixed rate), salary discussions will occur during the screening process.

Tobacco and Drug Statement
