*Cookeville Regional Medical Center is seeking a Full-Time Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team*

*Up to $7,500 sign on bonus with 18 month contract post orientation*

The *Nuclear Medicine Technologist* is responsible, under the direction of a physician licensed to utilize radioactive materials, for performing or assisting in the performance of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures using radionuclides or brachytherapy sources. These responsibilities include but are not limited to radiopharmacy, radiation safety, in vivo and in vitro studies, equipment and inventory maintenance. The Staff Nuclear Imaging Technologist exercises professional judgment while performing services in a demeanor complimentary to customer service, age specific criteria, safety and medical ethics. Other duties as assigned.

*Education: *Associate’s Degree in Nuclear Imaging from an AMA approved program of Nuclear Medicine, Bachelor's Degree preferred. Must be licensed by ARRT(N) or CNMT or be registry eligible. Must complete certification registry within 1 year of hire date.

*Experience: *Training should include but not be limited to: Radiopharmacology, radiation safety, health and radiation physics, image acquisition, computerized processing, and quality control of all instrumentation used in the department.
