Neonatal Nurse Practitioner – Level I Nursery

Join our Level I hospital nursery as we invite a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to our hospital employed team. Situated in northeast Connecticut, our town of 10,000 offers a warm, inviting atmosphere where you can create a more positive work/life balance. With a steady flow of well-baby cases, you’ll find our nursery to be consistently peaceful. Run entirely by our NNP staff, our nursey is well supported by onsite RNs and obstetricians as well as an offsite neonatologist. You’ll know everyone’s name as you walk the halls of our hospital and after hours you’ll feel respected by your community.

Facility:
16 bed Level I Nursery
500 deliveries per year
100 bed non-profit hospital
Rural Connecticut
Less than an hour from Hartford, Springfield, and Providence

Compensation:
$150,000 + shift differentials
(Equivalent to $235,000 in Boston)
$120/hr for extra shifts
CME allowance, full time PTO, full benefits

Schedule:
24 hour shifts starting at 8am
3 shifts per two weeks
12 and 24 hour shifts available for overtime
Less than 1:2 weekends coverage
No call

Requirements:
Licensed as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
Experience with neonatal codes and intubation is required
Due to the autonomous nature of this role, a minimum of 2 years of neonatal experience as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) is required#IND1
