Position Summary
We are looking for a Director of Software Engineering in Test to lead our quality assurance practices and software testing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering and testing, as well as experience managing a team of software engineers and collaborating across departments to achieve high quality software deliveries.
Job Responsibility
Develop and manage quality standards and quality scorecards.
Develop efficient quality practices from the start of the value chain (i.e., product requirements) to final production delivery focused on automation of manual tasks.
Develop efficient triage and production support practices.
Develop and implement software testing strategies and processes.
Manage a team of software engineers in test.
Collaborate with software development teams to ensure that software is tested thoroughly and meets quality standards.
Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks.
Analyze test results and provide feedback to development teams.
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software testing.

Education Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Experience Required
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
10+ years of experience in software engineering and testing.
5+ years of experience managing a team of software engineers.
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and tools.
Experience with automated testing frameworks.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Knowledge Required
Excellent written and verbal communications skills; adaptability and flexibility to a changing environment; and comfortable working in a dynamic, high volume, fast-paced environment. Ability to understand and ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and laws governing our industry/business and products.
Physical Requirements
Sitting for long periods of time; standing occasionally; walking; bending; squatting; kneeling; pushing/pulling; reaching; twisting; frequent lifting of less than 10 lbs., occasional lifting of up to 20 lbs.; driving and having access during the workday to an insured and reliable transportation; typing; data entry; grasping; transferring items between hands and/or to another person or receptacle; use of office equipment to include computers; ability to travel to, be physically present at, and complete the physical requirements of the position at any assigned location.
