*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early intervention and a passion for providing care to diverse populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics. This role involves working in various settings such as clinics, outpatient facilities, and home health environments. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for developing individualized care plans to enhance the quality of life for patients through therapeutic interventions.

*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical, emotional, and social needs to develop effective treatment plans.
* Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' ability to perform daily activities.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure cohesive care delivery and optimal patient outcomes.
* Educate patients and their families on treatment processes, techniques, and home exercises to promote independence.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary based on ongoing evaluations.
* Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with regulatory standards.
* Stay informed about advancements in occupational therapy practices and participate in professional development opportunities.

*Requirements*
* A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Valid state licensure or certification to practice as an Occupational Therapist.
* Knowledge of physiology and its application in therapeutic settings is essential.
* Experience or knowledge in early intervention strategies is preferred.
* Familiarity with working in clinic, outpatient, geriatrics, pediatrics, home health, or occupational health settings is advantageous.
* Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
* Ability to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $41.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
