*Job Overview*
As a Travel Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care across various healthcare settings. This position requires flexibility and adaptability as you will be assigned to different locations, often on short notice. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver nursing services that meet the needs of patients while collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes.

*Duties*
* Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations to assess patient conditions and needs.
* Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing necessary medical procedures.
* Engage in hospital medicine practices, ensuring adherence to protocols and standards of care.
* Utilize knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
* Implement airway management techniques when necessary to support patients in respiratory distress.
* Administer botulinum toxin treatments as required, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
* Utilize Epic software for electronic health records management and documentation.
* Provide specialized infant care in neonatal settings when assigned.
* Support hospice palliative medicine initiatives, focusing on comfort and quality of life for terminally ill patients.
* Assist with cardiac catheterization procedures as needed, working alongside cardiology teams.

*Skills*
* Strong diagnostic evaluation skills with the ability to make informed clinical decisions.
* Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach to nursing.
* Proficiency in hospital medicine practices and familiarity with various medical conditions.
* Knowledge of ICD-9 coding for effective documentation and billing accuracy.
* Competence in airway management techniques and emergency response protocols.
* Experience or certification in botulinum toxin treatment is a plus.
* Familiarity with Epic electronic health record systems for efficient patient management.
* Ability to provide exceptional infant care in critical situations.
* Understanding of hospice palliative medicine principles to enhance patient comfort.
* Experience with cardiac catheterization processes is beneficial.
