Job Title: Phlebotomist - Floater
Contract Duration: 3 Months
Pay range: $20 - 21/hr
Location: South Windsor, CT
Work Type: Onsite, 1st shift

About the Role:
As a Phlebotomist - Floater, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care across multiple locations. You will be responsible for drawing blood samples accurately and efficiently, while creating a positive and reassuring environment for patients.

Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood draws on patients of all ages.
Process and label blood specimens according to established procedures.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Provide excellent customer service to patients and colleagues.
Adhere to all safety and regulatory guidelines.
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operations.
Train and mentor new phlebotomists.
Act as a liaison between the field and management.
Troubleshoot issues and resolve problems.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Medical training (medical assistant or paramedic) preferred.
Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in CA, NV, WA).
Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience.
Experience in a patient service center or in-home phlebotomy environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
