*Roles and Responsibilities:*

* *Surgical Technologist Responsibilities:*
* Prepare sterile operating rooms prior to surgeries.
* Sterilize and maintain surgical equipment and instruments.
* Ensure the operating room is stocked with the necessary supplies.
* Prepare patients for surgery by cleaning and disinfecting incision areas.
* Assist during surgery by handing instruments and other supplies to the surgical team.
* Track and account for all surgical supplies during procedures.
* Stay current with advancements in surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures.
* Collaborate effectively with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the overall surgical team.
* Help deliver excellent patient care.
* *Surgical Technologist Requirements:*
* Graduate from an accredited surgical technologist program with a valid certification.
* Experience with surgical instrumentation.
* Hold a current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
* Strong understanding of surgical technologies and procedures.
* Familiarity with medical terminology.
* Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
