X-Ray Technician

Bay Street Orthopaedics offers an exciting opportunity for the qualified candidate to join our rapidly growing organization. As we continue to grow, we are currently looking for a X-Ray Technician who would like to be a part of a work environment that consists of supportive leadership, state-of-the-art technological resources, inter-professional teamwork, and innovative learning.

While following excellent service standards and providing professional care, the *X-Ray Technician *position will be responsible for the below essential functions:

· Efficiently producing high quality diagnostic radiographs within Physicians protocol

· Evaluates radiographs for technical quality and applies principals of radiation protection and safety

· Properly record patient information

· Perform quality control checks/audits on radiologic equipment

· Follows standards of safe radiation practice.

· Assisting with general patient care if needed

Required:

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· ARRT Certified

· Ability to work in high pressure/ fast paced environment

· Reliable, strong work ethics and integrity

· Ability to interact with people at various levels in a courteous, considerate and poised manner

· 1 year experience
