We are currently seeking a full-time Deposit Operations Specialist. This position is based at our downtown Altoona, PA location. This is an on-site position working 8:30 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday.
Due to the nature of this position, candidates should have at least two (2) years of banking/financial services experience. This will provide a great foundation for success in this role.
As a Deposit Operations Specialist, you'll get to:
Leverage your knowledge of all types of deposit accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRAs) to find solutions for our customers.
Use your knack for detail to review daily reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
Help us protect our customers by identifying, researching and resolving potential fraud.
Keep our customers' records updated and accurate by verifying all maintenance and changes to deposit accounts and customer information.
Complete daily deposit processes such as ACH, debit card processing, and return items.
Help us prepare for audits and examinations and work on other special projects as needed.

Passion for problem-solving and working with people

Proficient computer knowledge and ability to learn bank-specific software
Working conditions and physical demands:
Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office environment. This position requires the ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time, with ongoing need to move about the immediate workspace or to other areas of the department to accomplish tasks. Constant use of repeated motions involving the hands, wrists and fingers is required, as well as an ability to observe details at close range throughout the day. Frequent need to bend, stoop, reach or stretch to retrieve items or accomplish tasks. May regularly adjust or move items weighing up to 50 lbs.
