Endeavor Health – Seeking surgical technologist who are interested in finding a permanent w/ a community-based healthcare entity in the Chicagoland area.

*Job Title:* Surgical Technologist

*Position Type: *FULL-TIME

*Surgical Techs will...*
* Scrub during all surgical procedures EXCEPT open heart
* Will perform scrub duties during the intraoperative phase of a surgical procedure
* Assist in the prep & dispensing of surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies required for procedures
* Conduct instrument, needle, sharps, and sponge counts & handle specimens
* MUST be approximately 30 minutes or LESS from the hospital to meet ON-CALL requirements (no on-call rooms available)

* Starting Pay: $25.50 (increases based on experience & certification)
* Shift Available:
* Day Shift - OPEN (7a-3:30p, 40 hours/week)
* Shift Differential for weekend/holidays

Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience *PREFERRED *(new graduates of Surg Tech program, MAY be considered)

Surgical Tech certification preferred

Experience must be from acute care hospital

Completed Surgical Tech Program & High School Diploma
