We are looking for an individual with superb computer skills, who is accurate, HIGHLY detail-oriented, quick, and responsible. The right candidate should be a quick learner and have an excellent command of the English language - spoken and written. He or she MUST have a minimum of one-year of experience with medical billing and collection systems. Experience with ABA/behavior analysis insurance billing is preferred.

Knowledge and experience with medical practice management software are required. This is a small intimate office setting located in Davie, FL and the candidate must work well with others.

The applicant MUST be able to perform the following functions:

Create and submit electronic and paper medical claims with or without patient responsibility
Submit corrected claims
Knowledge in disputing claims with insurance payors
Knowledge of insurance health benefits and patient responsibility
Collections in old A/R claims
Interpret remittance advice/explanation of benefits statements
Conduct follow-up activities for unpaid claims
Submit appeals due to wrongfully paid or denied claims (Proper grammar skills are required - Heavy appeal submission)
Perform posting of payments and adjustments
Process online credit card payments
Determine and post-contractual adjustments
Audit and investigate client accounts
Process insurance overpayments and client credits
Enter accurate notes and memos for all activities
Collect co-payments, coinsurance, and deductibles
