Dental Hygienist Requirements and Qualifications
* Associate degree or bachelor’s degree in dental hygiene from an accredited program
* Current state license and x-ray certification
* Excellent understanding of dental hygiene procedures
* Knowledge of aseptic and sterilization techniques
* Excellent communication skills
* Dentrix knowledge prefered
Responsibilities for our Dental Hygienist:
* Perform dental hygiene services and procedures, including dental prophylaxis, scaling, flouride and sealants, and root planing
* Complete a thorough assessment of the patient's teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, and document any abnormalities or suspected conditions
* Customize care to meet patient's oral health
* Educate patients on good oral hygiene techniques
* Maintain patient confidentiality
* Provide all care in conjunction with accepted professional dental practices and standards
* Update patient records
* Sterilizing dental instruments and equipment
* Restock treatment areas
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 35 per week
