Boca Raton Regional Hospital is an advanced tertiary medical center with 400 beds and is a recognized leader in Cardiovascular Care, Oncology, Women's Health, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine and the Neurosciences, all of which offer state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging capabilities.
Description:
Provides a variety of ultrasound procedures on all age groups served by the entity. Safely ensures quality images. Participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients. Schedule is as needed, with availability for overnight.
Qualifications:
Degrees:
High School,Cert,GED,Trn,Exper.
Licenses & Certifications:
ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Abdomen.
ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Breast Specialty.
ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - Ob/Gyn.
ARDMS Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer.
ARDMS Registered Vascular Technologist.
Basic Life Support.
Additional Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved AMA Council on Education Program in Ultrasound Technology or Radiologic Technology.
Active ARDMS certification.
Six month experience in an acute care setting preferred.
Registration in at least two specialties based on departmental clinical needs.
