Focus Family Care are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with speech, language, or swallowing disorders. Your expertise will be instrumental in helping individuals of all ages, from children to adults, improve their communication skills and overall quality of life.

Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to identify communication and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices, including speech therapy and early intervention techniques.
- Provide speech and language therapy to patients, using a variety of techniques and strategies to address specific needs.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure effective patient care and support.
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomical knowledge to diagnose and treat complex disorders.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
- Stay current with the latest research, best practices, and industry developments to continually improve patient outcomes.

Experience

- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology(Speech Terapist)
- Current licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of practice.
- Experience working with patients in various settings, including schools, hospitals, and clinics.
- Strong understanding of pediatric and adult communication disorders, including developmental delays and acquired conditions.
- Familiarity with early intervention and school-based speech therapy approaches.
- Proven ability to assess and treat patients with a range of communication and swallowing disorders.

Skills

- Proficiency in speech therapy techniques and methodologies.
- Excellent patient care and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of physiology and anatomy relevant to speech and language disorders.
- Experience with early intervention and school-based speech therapy approaches.
- Familiarity with medical terminology and the ability to apply anatomical knowledge to patient assessment and treatment.
- Effective patient assessment skills, including the ability to identify and address a range of communication and swallowing disorders.
- Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, educators, and families to ensure effective patient care and support.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
