Description:

SHIFT: 8 AM-4:30 PM / FULL-TIME / 40 HOURS

LOCATION: EMORY UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL - WINSHIP BUILDING C

Operates radiologic equipment to produce radiographs (x-rays) for diagnostic purposes.
Provides quality patient care, positions patient and adjusts equipment to produce high quality images.
Effectively communicates with patients, family and other health care team members.
Performs routine, portable, operating room, and fluoroscopic procedures to produce radiologic images.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and at a minimum be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification in accordance with the American Heart Association required.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience.

Environmental exposures include, but are not limited to: Blood-borne pathogen exposure Bio-hazardous waste Chemicals/gases/fumes/vapors Communicable diseases Electrical shock, Floor Surfaces, Hot/Cold Temperatures, Indoor/Outdoor conditions, Latex, Lighting, Patient care/handling injuries, Radiation, Shift work, Travel may be required.
