Shift/Time Zone: Tuesday - Friday 1 pm - 6:30 pm, Saturday 6 am - 10 am CST

About the Role:
As a Forensic Processing Technician, you'll play a critical role in processing forensic samples at our state-of-the-art facility in Lenexa, KS. You'll be responsible for a variety of tasks, including specimen sorting, data entry, and sample preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

Specimen Processing: Sort and process various types of forensic specimens, including hair, oral fluid, urine, and more.
Data Entry: Accurately input specimen information into our laboratory information system (QTN).
Quality Assurance: Adhere to strict forensic practices and quality control standards.
Laboratory Operations: Assist with general laboratory tasks, such as scanning, imaging, and discarding specimens.
Teamwork: Collaborate with a team of forensic scientists to ensure efficient workflow.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Prior laboratory experience preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proficiency with computer systems, including data entry and laboratory software
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds
