*Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) needed for LTC.*
Genie Healthcare is currently seeking an experienced LPN LTC to fill an opening located in Lincoln, NE for $1686/week (taxed+ Nontaxable)
*Requirements of the (LPN):*
● Must have AHA BLS certification.
● Must have valid NE , License
●Must have at least 1 years of experience in, LPN.

*Job Overview*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and possess strong clinical skills. As an LPN, you will provide essential nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses and physicians, ensuring the highest quality of care for our patients.
*Duties*
* Administer medications and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
* Conduct physical examinations and document patient health histories.
* Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.
* Maintain accurate medical records using electronic health record systems such as Cerner and Athenahealth.
* Perform phlebotomy procedures as needed for lab tests.
* Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care to patients, including those with developmental disabilities.
* Utilize ICD-9 coding for documentation and billing purposes.
* Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and medication administration.
* Ensure compliance with all safety and health regulations within the facility.
*Qualifications*
* Valid LPN license in the state of practice.
* Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
* Proficiency in electronic medical record systems, specifically Cerner and Athenahealth, is a plus.
* Knowledge of sonography principles is advantageous but not required.
* Strong understanding of medication administration protocols and practices.
* Ability to perform physical examinations competently.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
* Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining medical records.
