*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. The LPN will provide essential nursing care to patients in various settings, including hospice care, outpatient facilities, and hospitals. This role requires a commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care while collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for our patients.

*Duties*
* Administer medications and monitor patient responses to treatments and medications.
* Assist in pain management strategies and provide emotional support to patients and families.
* Conduct routine laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures as needed.
* Perform airway management techniques when necessary.
* Maintain accurate patient records using electronic health record systems such as Athenahealth and Cerner.
* Collaborate with registered nurses and physicians to develop and implement patient care plans.
* Educate patients and their families on health maintenance and disease prevention.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and regulations in all aspects of patient care.

*Skills*
* Proficient in hospice care practices and principles.
* Knowledgeable in outpatient nursing procedures and protocols.
* Strong understanding of laboratory testing processes.
* Familiarity with hospital settings and emergency response techniques.
* Excellent airway management skills.
* Experience with electronic health record systems, particularly Athenahealth and Cerner.
* Effective medication administration techniques with attention to detail.
* Strong pain management assessment skills coupled with empathy for patient needs.
* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
