*Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced CVOR Charge Nurse to join our healthcare team. The Charge Nurse will play a critical role in overseeing patient care, managing nursing staff, and ensuring that the highest standards of care are maintained. This position requires strong leadership skills, clinical expertise, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of various medical procedures and protocols, as well as excellent communication skills.

*Responsibilities*
* Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care activities to ensure optimal outcomes.
* Assess patient conditions and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
* Manage acute pain management and oversee pain management protocols.
* Provide guidance on the use of neonatal ventilators and other specialized equipment.
* Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals in emergency medicine situations.
* Conduct triage assessments to prioritize patient needs effectively.
* Maintain knowledge of anatomy to support accurate assessments and interventions.
* Ensure compliance with workers' compensation law during patient care processes.
* Perform procedures such as spinal taps when necessary, adhering to safety protocols.
* Document patient care activities accurately in accordance with facility policies.

*Qualifications*
* Current nursing license in good standing.
* Proven experience in CVOR, preferably in a charge nurse role or similar leadership position.
* Strong knowledge of coding practices related to patient care documentation.
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in nursing care.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.16 - $52.74 per hour

Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
