We are looking for hard-working dental assistants who enjoy a fast pace, are self starters, and are excited about learning new things The individual who would be the most successful in this position is well-organized, has attention for detail, is team minded and throughly enjoys providing patients with an outstanding experience.

*Responsibilities*
* Understand or have the ability to learn complex dental procedures quickly.
* Communicate complex dental procedures and care instructions with patients.
* Build rapport with patients through personable interactions.
* Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed for treatments
* Sterilize instruments according to regulations
* Assist our team of dentists as needed in a variety of procedures, ranging from traditional orthodontics to advanced restorative procedures.
* Undertake lab tasks as instructed.
* Be attentive to the schedule and adapt as needed to ensure patients are taken care of in a timely manner.
* Schedule appointments as needed.
* Maintain accurate patient records and assist with payment procedures as needed.

*Skills*
* EFDA certification is required to apply. Must have a minimum of 1 Expanded Function Permit to apply with the understanding that obtaining the remaining permits will be expected within a certain amount of time.
* Ability to adapt or pivot under the pressure of a fast paced environment.
* Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.

* Understanding of health and safety regulations.
* Good computer skills.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
* Attention to details.
* Well-organized and reliable
* Previous experience or training with CEREC, iTero or SprintRay technology is an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
