*Job Overview*
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our healthcare team. The COTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient clinics and rehabilitation facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology, as well as experience in pediatrics and geriatrics, to effectively assist patients in achieving their therapeutic goals.

*Responsibilities*
* Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
* Conduct therapy sessions focusing on improving patients' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
* Monitor patient progress and document changes in condition or response to treatment.
* Educate patients and their families about therapeutic exercises and care plans.
* Utilize medical terminology effectively in communication with healthcare professionals.
* Maintain a safe and clean therapy environment, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
* Stay updated on best practices in occupational health and therapy techniques.

*Requirements*
* Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant from an accredited program.
* Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to occupational therapy.
* Experience working with diverse populations, including pediatrics and geriatrics.
* Strong patient care skills with the ability to develop rapport with clients.
* Familiarity with outpatient care settings is preferred.
* Ability to create and follow detailed care plans tailored to individual patient needs.
* Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with therapists, patients, and families.
* Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical standards in healthcare practice.
