*Position Summary:The Branch Manager is responsible for the complete supervision and operation of the branch financial services staff. The Branch Manager is responsible for developing a staff that meets the highest potential through training, evaluating, and coordinating all activities. The Branch Manager develops and assures that branch growth and objectives are met and maintains contact with customers and community to encourage and develop new business.*_*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*_
1. Maintain a highly motivated, well-trained staff, maintaining effective employee relations.
2. Acknowledge customers and visitors. Committed to providing a positive customer perception by welcoming both existing and potential customers. Proactively identifying and addressing their financial needs which may include, but not limited to: general teller duties, originating deposit accounts and consumer loans, presenting solutions through product benefits, overcoming resistance and resolving customer issues.
3. Actively solicit internal and external customers and prospects for new and/or additional business opportunities and recommends bank products by using specific examples of product benefits.
Recognize opportunities for referrals within the bank. Provide inside and outside sales support to various bank departments. Accountable for achieving assigned branch goals and leading their branch to reach bank goals as a whole.
4. Supports in branch business development goals through effective calling efforts on existing and potential customers; identifying business needs and corresponding sales opportunities bank-wide.
Accountable for achieving personal assigned goals and contributing towards their branch and bank goals as a whole.
5. Manage the security and safety of the branch. Analyze and monitor security and safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis.
6. Interact with local chambers of commerce and development agencies.
7. Handle customer complaints.

1. Maintain up-to-date job knowledge and develop professionally on a continuing basis through professional readings, online trainings, seminars and classes as required.
2. Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all applicable bank and branch policies, procedures and support systems.
3. Actively participate in bank functions and community activities as a representative of the bank.
4. Perform other duties that may be necessary to fulfill the responsibilities of this position.
5. Expected to understand and adhere to(comply with) all bank policies and procedures, the Bank
Secrecy Act and its implementing Anti-Money Laundering regulations, Community Reinvestment
Act, U.S.A. Patriot Act, Gramm-Leach Bliley Act and all other banking regulations including applicable state and federal law.
_*Supervisory Responsibilities:*_
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): developing, mentoring, and coaching employees; interviewing; hiring and terminating employees; employee training; planning, assigning and directing work; performance reviews; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
_*Work Relationships and Scope:*_
The Branch Manager will provide inside sales support to the Bankers in their respective branch.
Supervise the customer service staff in their branch. Work closely with other Bank employees as necessary to ensure client satisfactions. Work regularly with confidential business and customer information. Ensure compliance with banking regulations.
_*Measures of Performance:*_
Quality, accuracy, reliability, friendliness, thoroughness and timeliness of services provided to internal and external customers; adherence to banking regulations and accepted audit procedures; ability to earn the trust and respect of employees and co- workers; effectively communicate and develop good working relationships with co- workers; professional workplace appearance and conduct; keep Bank, customer and employee information confidential; participate in training and appropriate professional development; reliability in reporting to work regularly and on time; understand and adhere to Bank policies and procedures; inform clients and potential customers of additional Bank services through cross-selling.
_*Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:*_
Knowledge of retail banking products and services, bank rules, regulations, policies and procedures preferred. Knowledge of loan application and documentation procedures preferred. Ability to effectively profile customer for financial information. Must possess: courteous and professional customer service attitude; perform intermediate mathematical calculations (add, subtract, multiply,

divide, decimals, percents, calculate interest, ratios); technical ability to input and retrieve computerized information; willingness to assume responsibility and solve problems; excellent verbal communication skills for interacting professionally with customers, and relating to other employees; ability to maintain the integrity of highly confidential customer and Bank information; ability to deal effectively with time pressures and stress that can change hourly depending on level of customer activity. Must be able to provide own transportation and be insurable to drive outside the Bank as necessary.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
_*Work Environment *_
Work is performed largely in an environment with minimal chance for personal injury. Hours worked are general normal business hours. Additional time may be required to meet the demands of the job responsibilities. The noise level of the work environment is generally quiet.
