Job Summary

We’re looking for a Site Reliability Engineer who will be responsible for the Cloud Infrastructure and Observability solutions for the Strata platform and ensure all systems run smoothly. Strata is an easy to use, scalable, and highly available demand side platform. Backed by Amazon Web Services and Kubernetes, the team has embraced Infrastructure as code to manage thousands of applications, servers, and containers running in multiple regions worldwide.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities  

  • Design and build infrastructure and tooling to provide high scalability, reliability, and sub-second performance levels using industry best practices.  

  • Writing code and scripts to support Infrastructure as code ( IaC ), configuration management, and automated incident resolution.    

  • Support and extend the observability stack to capture and alert on any issues.  

  • Participate in on-call rotation s and be an escalation contact for service incidents .  

  • Writ e systems documentation, playbooks , and other instruction manuals.  

  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.  

 

Basic Qualifications and Skills  

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science , c omputer e ngineering, relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience  

  • Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems    

  • At least three ( 3 ) years of administration experience with Linux, Windows, AWS , and Kubernetes  

  • At least three ( 3 ) years of experience in configuration management using Cloud Formation , Terraform, and Ansible or similar  

  • At least three (3) years of experience with observability tooling such as Grafana Cloud or Datadog  

  • At least three ( 3 ) years of experience coding in higher-level languages, such as Powershell , Python, Java, or .Net  

  • At least three ( 3 ) years of experience managing web applications  

  • At least three ( 3 ) years of experience managing relational databases  

  • Strong problem-solving skills   

  • Strong verbal / written communication skills  

 

Preferred Qualifications    

  • Postgraduate degree in computer-related fields  

  • Certified AWS Solutions Architect Pro or DevOps Pro  

  • Certified Kubernetes Admini strat or (CKA)  

  • Exposure to data warehouses a plus (Snowflake, Databricks)

Salary:

National Pay Range: $81,865.19 USD-$191,871.54 USD
