iWorld Professionals is seeking a Principal Infrastructure Architect to lead the design and delivery of complex, enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions across global programs. This is a high-impact role where you will influence architecture strategy, guide customers through transformation, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing environments.
Principal Infrastructure Architect Position Summary:
- Lead Architecture & Delivery
- Design and deliver enterprise-scale infrastructure solutions across cloud, hybrid, and on-prem environments
- Ensure architectures are scalable, resilient, secure, and aligned to long-term business goals
- Translate Business to Technical Strategy
- Convert business and program requirements into end-to-end infrastructure architectures
- Align solutions with industry best practices and enterprise IT strategies
- Serve as Technical Authority
- Provide expert guidance on system sizing, performance, availability, networking, security, and disaster recovery
- Conduct architecture reviews and ensure design integrity across programs
- Support pursuits and influence solution direction and roadmaps
- Provide leadership and mentorship to architects and consultants
- Contribute to standards, reusable frameworks, and architectural maturity
- Ensure Compliance & Governance
Principal Infrastructure Architect Requirements:
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and hybrid environments
- Deep knowledge of:
- Compute, storage, networking, and security architectures
- High availability, disaster recovery, and performance optimization
- Experience with:
- Windows Server & Linux (RHEL, SUSE)
- Databases: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL
- Proven success in customer-facing consulting roles
- Ability to engage with both technical teams and executive stakeholders
- Ability to operate independently while leading within complex programs
Experience in PLM or Manufacturing (Teamcenter , Opcenter, or similar platforms) highly desirable
