Government Pre-Sales Engineer
Location: McLean, VA Work Environment: Hybrid
Role Summary:
Exiger helps the U.S. government make better decisions in environments where data is fragmented, risk is hidden, and the cost of getting it wrong is high. Our Government business continues to grow rapidly as agencies turn to Exiger to bring clarity, trust, and defensibility to supply chain, third-party, and software risk decisions. We are hiring a Government Pre-Sales Engineer to serve as a key technical partner to our Government Sales team, driving how Exiger's platform, data, and AI capabilities are translated into credible, compliant, and mission-aligned solutions. This role sits at the intersection of government mission needs, complex data and integration requirements, and enterprise buying processes. You will play a critical role in shaping technical strategy across federal pursuitssupporting Federal Civilian, Defense, Intelligence Community, and Aerospace and Defense customerswhile owning the technical pre-sales motion from initial engagement through deal close.
What You'll Do:
- Own the end-to-end technical pre-sales motion for U.S. Government customers, including solution architecture, demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, and RFP/RFI responses
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor in customer-facing engagements, clearly articulating how Exiger's solutions address mission, compliance, and operational risk challenges
