The Endoscopy Nurse will report to the Nurse Manager of the Endoscopy Unit. This role involves close collaboration with gastroenterologists, surgeons, and other medical staff to ensure optimal patient care throughout endoscopic procedures and recovery.
The Endoscopy Unit is a specialized department equipped with state-of-the-art technology for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures. Our team operates in a dynamic environment where precision, efficiency, and patient comfort are paramount. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of care and ensuring that every patient receives personalized and attentive service.
As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will be responsible for preparing patients for endoscopic procedures, monitoring patient vitals and responses during procedures, and providing post-procedural care and education to patients and their families. You will assist physicians with endoscopic equipment and ensure proper sterilization and maintenance of instruments. Additionally, you will document patient care and procedural details accurately, handle patient inquiries and concerns with empathy, and work collaboratively with the medical team to deliver high-quality care.
Candidates will possess an RN license. Strong knowledge of endoscopic procedures, equipment, and patient care practices will earn a quick interview. Excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential.
