POLE BARN AND BARNDOMINIUM FOREMAN GEM Construction GEM is starting a dedicated pole barn and barndominium crew and we are looking for a working foreman who can build, lead, and communicate with clients. This is a hands on position. You work with the crew every day. This is not a sit in the truck and watch role. POSITION OVERVIEW You will lead new construction projects including pole barns and barndominiums. You will work directly with the crew on site. You will meet clients in person during the planning phase so they know who is actually building their project. The office handles estimating, contracts, and scheduling. Your role is site review, client communication, and execution. If you already have a crew or skilled people you trust, we want to talk to you. SKILLS REQUIRED This role requires real experience. Pole barn construction New construction framing Setting posts Trusses Metal roofing and siding Concrete coordination Reading plans Layout and site prep You must be well rounded and able to solve problems in the field without constant direction. WORK SCHEDULE Four ten hour days. Forty hours per week. The entire crew chooses one schedule and keeps it consistent. Monday through Thursday or Tuesday through Friday Three day weekends every week. Overtime is permitted during busy season when needed. WHAT YOU WILL DO Lead the crew on site. Work alongside your crew daily. Maintain quality, speed, and safety. Coordinate workflow and materials. Meet clients at the site before construction starts. Answer client questions and set expectations. Keep projects on schedule and on budget. Represent GEM professionally in the field. PAY AND COMPENSATION Competitive pay based on experience. Company truck provided. Profit sharing for every project sold and completed on time and on budget. Ability to communicate clearly with clients. Valid driver license. Must be reliable and organized. Must be able to lead without being hand held.
