About the Role
Our client is seeking a creative and user-centric Junior UX/UI Designer to join their innovative product development team in San Diego . This role is perfect for recent graduates passionate about creating intuitive and engaging user experiences for web and mobile applications. You will collaborate with product managers and developers to translate user needs into beautiful, functional designs. This position offers a chance to hone your design skills, learn from experienced professionals, and contribute to shaping the user journey of impactful products.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity mockups for new features and products.
- Create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
- Conduct user research and usability testing to gather feedback and inform design decisions.
- Collaborate closely with product managers and engineers throughout the design and development process.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of design systems and style guides.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Portfolio showcasing UX/UI design projects, wireframes, and mockups.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or similar.
- Understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices.
- Strong communication skills and ability to articulate design rationale.
