The Sonographer III ensures exceptional patient care, diagnostic accuracy, and high-quality imaging in every exam. What You’ll Do Prepare patients for ultrasound examinations and provide safe, attentive care throughout procedures. Perform advanced ultrasound imaging across multiple specialties in alignment with site-specific needs. Demonstrate expert-level knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology. Tailor care based on patient age, clinical condition, and individual abilities. Receive, document, and process verbal, written, and electronic imaging orders. Follow established protocols while optimizing technical factors to ensure high-quality diagnostic images. Administer medications and contrast media as prescribed; perform venipuncture when required.
