Food ServiceMinimum starting salary rate: $18.25 per hourAssignment: Child Nutrition Warehouse/Driver Wage/Hour Status: Non-ExemptReports to: Production Manager Pay Grade: CN521/177 days Dept./School: Child Nutrition Date Revised: Spring 2026Primary PurposeProvide distribution and equipment using a motor vehicle for the Child Nutrition department. Work in warehouse as needed. Facilitate the efficient operation of warehouse stock items in a timely manner, observing ethical business practices and in compliance with the established safety program. Keep work area clean and organized, in and around the distribution center and assigned vehicles.
QualificationsMinimum Education/CertificationHigh School diploma or GEDForklift operator certification preferredSpecial Knowledge/Skills/Experience1 year experience in institutional food service operations preferredKnowledge of methods, materials, equipment, and appliances used in a warehouseKnowledge of food handler safetyAbility to manage personnelEffective organizational, communication, and interpersonal skillsMust have a valid driver's licenseMajor Responsibilities and DutiesDelivers food, supplies, and other materials to campusesPulls inventory as instructedLoad and unload products and materials from truckMove products and materials to warehouse storageClean and maintain work areaWorks in coolers and freezersFollow all Standard Operating ProceduresComply with all OSHA and MSDS standards, and all company work rules, policies and proceduresMaintain a professional attitude among co-workers and visitors.
Deliver monthly commodities as instructedEnsure routine vehicle maintenance is completedMaintain, clean, deliver/pickup grillsMaintain compliance of Certification of Violations (CV) on an annual basis according to district and Aramark policies.
Other duties as assignedMental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental FactorsForklift, Electric Pallet Jack, 24' Foot box truck standard shift for most deliveries. Delivery can or P/U for smaller deliveries.
